Oncology Services
Unit 500 The Medical Oncology Unit is a 33-bed unit that provides care for patients with acute medical problems/needs, such as pneumonia, chronic respiratory problems, asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and medical care of the elderly. In addition, oncology patients are cared for, including those needing inpatient chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
The nurses providing care for these patients received extra training to meet the special needs of these patients.

Cancer Information Center
Stocked with a wide range of cancer-related literature, the Cancer Information Center provides convenient access to information valuable to cancer patients and their families.
The Cancer Information Center is a joint ventures between Huguley Memorial Medical Center and the American Cancer Society.
